A bookwork containing Polaroid images and ephemera from the streets of New York City, summer 1994.
"Turning a corner laid out on the sidewalk, rows and rows of plain white envelopes, the words 'Messages from Heaven' printed across the front. I picked one up and opened it. Inside an anonmynous fragement of graffiti from the walls and alleyways of the city"
The book led to a number of commissions for book jackets from Jonathon Cape.
