service station journal

Service Station Journal is a matched pair of books visually documenting two continuous 24 hour journeys on Britain's motorways that took place on Spring Bank Holiday Monday and August Bank Holiday Monday, 2012.

The work was exhibited at Bank Street Arts in Sheffield during May 2013 as part of a group show inspired by Simon Armitage's short poetry collection 'The Motorway Service Station as a Destination in it's Own Right'.
