Playground
A bookwork containing photographs taken at St Peter's C of E Primary School, on Liverpool Grove off the Walworth Road in London during November and December 1989 as part of my MA study at the R.C.A.
Unable to gain permission to photograph in the classroom as originally intended, I entered the children's own space to capture the personalities, friendships and social dramas of the playground, through collaboration and provocation, at break and dinner times.
The work was produced in book form in 1993.
